Travel content creators from seven countries have arrived in Nepal to film its mountains, wildlife and culture for audiences around the world on TikTok.
The creators, from France, Portugal, Tunisia, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, are visiting under a partnership between the Nepal Tourism Board and TikTok. They will travel to Pokhara, Chitwan and Bardiya and produce videos about the places they visit.
Three creators from the UAE and Tunisia flew directly into Pokhara International Airport on a FlyDubai flight, where the Tourism Board welcomed them. The other creators were welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Over the coming days, the group will visit leading destinations in the three regions and record what they find there, from natural scenery and wildlife to local lifestyles, food and adventure activities. The videos will then be shared on TikTok and other social media platforms.
Surya Thapaliya, a senior manager at the Tourism Board, said the content would help present Nepal as an international tourist destination.
The visit builds on an agreement signed between the board and TikTok on 19 August 2025 to promote Nepal's tourism worldwide. Under that partnership, the #LifetimeExperiences campaign aims to carry images of Nepal's Himalayan beauty, cultural heritage, adventure tourism and everyday life to viewers across the globe through short videos.
Some of the creators have already been assigned their regions. Anirban Kaiser of Bangladesh, Kasun Sampath Degoda Gamage of Sri Lanka, Balkis Kasouri and Mohamed Jemil Beri of Tunisia and Mohamed Nabil of the UAE will focus on Pokhara. Jeremy Beaudet of France will head to Chitwan to cover its wildlife, national park and Tharu culture, while Daniel Roxo Pinto of Portugal and Wangyu Lee of South Korea will present Bardiya's natural environment, wildlife and community-based tourism.
The board and TikTok held a three-day travel content creation workshop in Kathmandu from 24 to 26 June, training tourism entrepreneurs, creators, trekking professionals and mountaineers in digital storytelling and destination promotion.
Short videos have become one of the main ways young travellers discover new places, and the board hopes the creators' posts will turn online attention into real visits. Local tourism businesses and communities in Pokhara, Chitwan and Bardiya are expected to benefit if the exposure brings more visitors to those destinations.
