Savannah Guthrie makes a new plea nine months after her mother went missing Today host Savannah Guthrie has shared a new public plea for information about her mother, Nancy Guthrie, nine months after she disappeared from her home in Tucson, Arizona. In an Instagram post on Sunday, November 1, Guthrie said her family aches for answers and cannot move forward until they know what happened. She shared an old drawing that summed up how she feels, saying the world goes on and things appear normal, but for her family it is not normal and never will be. She asked anyone who knows something to come forward, saying her mother was a light in this world and the family wants to celebrate her and give her the dignity she deserves. She added that the reward is still available and begged people to help. Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on the night of January 31 and was taken from her home in the early hours of February 1. Investigators later found previously lost doorbell camera footage showing an armed, masked person tampering with the camera. Earlier this week, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said investigators travelled to Florida in October to meet lab scientists to see what more could be done to advance the case. Lawrence Robb leaves Strictly after first ever triple dance-off Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb and his professional partner Jowita Przystał have been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2026. The Halloween Week results show on Sunday, November 1, saw three couples in the dance-off for the first time in the history of the BBC show. Lawrence and Jowita faced Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu. All three couples danced their Halloween routines again, with Lawrence and Jowita repeating their Tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr. All four judges opted to send Lawrence and Jowita home. Head judge Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood voted to eliminate them, and Motsi Mabuse said she would have made the same choice. The pair had finished ninth on the judges leaderboard on Saturday with 26 points. Craig Revel Horwood called their routine sharp, staccato and very entertaining, while Shirley Ballas said Lawrence was improving and shining. Lawrence and Jowita are the fifth couple to leave the 2026 series. The show returns at 6:30pm on Saturday, November 7, on BBC One and iPlayer.
