Lawrence Robb leaves Strictly after first ever triple dance-off
Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb and his professional partner Jowita Przystał have been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2026.
The Halloween Week results show on Sunday, November 1, saw three couples in the dance-off for the first time in the history of the BBC show.
Lawrence and Jowita faced Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu. All three couples danced their Halloween routines again, with Lawrence and Jowita repeating their Tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.
All four judges opted to send Lawrence and Jowita home. Head judge Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood voted to eliminate them, and Motsi Mabuse said she would have made the same choice.
The pair had finished ninth on the judges leaderboard on Saturday with 26 points. Craig Revel Horwood called their routine sharp, staccato and very entertaining, while Shirley Ballas said Lawrence was improving and shining.
Lawrence and Jowita are the fifth couple to leave the 2026 series. The show returns at 6:30pm on Saturday, November 7, on BBC One and iPlayer.
