Kelly Rowland shuts down Destiny's Child reunion talk for Jay-Z's Super Bowl show
Kelly Rowland has been asked whether Destiny's Child could take the stage again at the Super Bowl. Her answer was short and clear: that is Jay-Z's show, not hers to plan.
Jay-Z is set to headline the halftime show at the 2027 Super Bowl in February. Many fans expect his wife Beyonce to appear as a guest during the set, which has led to talk of a full Destiny's Child reunion.
Rowland was asked about it while attending the Airbnb Gala last week. She said it was none of her business, adding simply that it is his performance.
All three members of the group, Beyonce, Rowland and Michelle Williams, were recently in the audience for Jay-Z's concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the same venue that will host the Super Bowl. Rowland said they turned up to support him, and praised the energy of the show.
The trio last performed together at the final show of Beyonce's Cowboy Carter Tour in July 2025. Before that, their last joint stage moment came in March 2015, apart from their surprise appearance during Beyonce's own Super Bowl halftime show years earlier. Earlier this year the group marked 25 years since their album Survivor.
