Yesha Sagar to Host Nepal Premier League Season 3

Yesha Sagar has been announced as the host for the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), bringing a new face to the tournament’s presentation team.

The NPL announced Sagar’s arrival through its social media channels, welcoming her with the message “Nepal, get ready.” She will take over the hosting role for the upcoming season after Jase Crowe presented the previous edition.

Sagar is a Canadian model, actress and fitness influencer who began her career in the Punjabi music industry in 2017. She has appeared in more than 30 music videos across Punjabi, Hindi and Telugu productions.

Born in Punjab, India, Sagar completed her undergraduate studies in India before moving to Canada in December 2015 for further education. Her career in modeling and acting developed after she was offered a lead role in a music video by a former classmate.

Yesha Sagar excited to experience Nepal

Following the announcement, Sagar expressed her excitement about visiting Nepal and being part of the NPL.

She said she had heard about the enthusiasm of Nepali cricket supporters and was looking forward to meeting fans, experiencing Nepali food and learning more about the country’s culture.

Her appointment comes as preparations continue for the third edition of the NPL, which is scheduled to take place from Kartik 9 to Mangsir 5 in the Nepali calendar.

The upcoming season is also attracting attention for its expanding international profile. Several overseas players have already been linked with or signed by NPL franchises, including former Australia captain David Warner, Jimmy Neesham, Shakib Al Hasan and Sikandar Raza.

With Sagar joining the presentation team, the NPL will enter its third season with a new host as cricket fans in Nepal prepare for another edition of the country’s franchise T20 competition.
