The total leaves Nepal relying on their bowlers to defend a modest score. A defeat would all but end their hopes of reaching the semi-finals after their heavy loss to India in the opening match, while a win would keep their campaign alive heading into Tuesday's meeting with Pakistan.
Nepal lost their first match to India by 10 wickets, while the UAE went down to Pakistan by nine wickets. In the last five under-19 meetings between the two sides, Nepal have won four, with the UAE's only win coming by the Duckworth-Lewis method.
The UAE began their reply chasing 154 to win, and the result of the chase will decide whether Nepal stay in the tournament.
