Kendall Jenner turns Paris, Texas into her Halloween birthday costume Kendall Jenner mixed her birthday with Halloween this year, and film fans loved the result. The model, whose birthday falls on November 3, threw her celebration early at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles. Guests included Charli XCX, Hailey Bieber and Jennie. Jenner dressed as Jane Henderson, the character played by Nastassja Kinski in Wim Wenders's 1984 film Paris, Texas. The film won the Palme d'Or at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival and has since become a cult favourite. She swapped her signature dark hair for a chin length platinum blonde bob wig, and paired it with a fuzzy pink mini dress and black tights. She shared photos in the outfit, including one posed at the bar that echoed a famous scene from the film. Her boyfriend, Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi, was spotted leaving the party with her, wearing a red cap, a black suit and a white shirt, also in a nod to Paris, Texas. Amitabh Bachchan greets fans from behind a protective shield at Jalsa Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan kept his weekly Sunday tradition alive outside his Mumbai home, Jalsa, on November 1, but this time the scene looked very different. The 83-year-old actor greeted fans from inside a transparent protective enclosure, reportedly bulletproof, set up on an elevated platform outside his Juhu bungalow. He waved to the crowd and greeted them in his usual style. His son Abhishek Bachchan stood close behind him through the appearance, keeping a watchful eye on the crowd. Security personnel were also present, and fans stood behind barricades. The extra security follows reports of a bomb threat email allegedly targeting Jalsa. Mumbai Police reportedly received information about the email on October 23, after it was sent to a school in the Bandra-Kurla Complex area, and an investigation began. Bachchan has also recently said he needs more rest as he continues to recover, and that doctors advised him to take a break from his usual online activities. He currently hosts Kaun Banega Crorepati. Suriya plays a reluctant cop dragged back to duty in Scene trailer The trailer for Suriya's new film Scene is out, and it shows the star in a very different kind of cop role. Suriya plays DSP Inbaraj, a police officer who has resigned from the force and is quite happy at home. He relaxes on the sofa, listens to music and cooks himself an omelette while his fellow officers wonder why he quit at the peak of his career. When he refuses to return, his colleagues are ordered to drag him out of his own house. They lift him down the stairs as if he were a criminal, while he calmly smokes and plays with a stress ball. The trailer then sets up his face off with Naslen, who makes his Tamil debut as Eeswaran Joseph, a criminal who causes chaos across the city with the same easy calm. Nazriya Nazim also returns to Tamil cinema after 12 years as Maya, Inbaraj's overstepping house help. Scene is directed by Jithu Madhavan, the Malayalam filmmaker behind Aavesham, in his Tamil debut. It is Suriya's third release of the year, after Karuppu and Vishwanath and Sons. The film is produced by Suriya and Jyotika and releases in cinemas on November 6, just ahead of Diwali, where it will compete with the dubbed Tamil version of Ramayana. Paris Hilton brings back Britney Spears snake moment for Halloween Paris Hilton has kept her Halloween tradition going for a fourth year in a row, dressing up as her longtime friend Britney Spears. This time she recreated Spears famous 2001 MTV Video Music Awards performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U". She wore a green halter top covered in crystals and rhinestones, with low rise aquamarine shorts. A snake named Tango completed the look, echoing the python Spears danced with on stage in 2001. In a behind the scenes video, Hilton called that performance legendary, and said posing with Tango gave her even more respect for what Spears did on stage. Hilton has made Spears a Halloween regular. Jennifer Lopez Goes Blonde as Barbarella for Halloween Jennifer Lopez went blonde for Halloween this year, and her costume was a tribute to Jane Fonda. In a carousel of photos posted to her Instagram on November 1, Lopez channelled Fonda's role in the 1968 sci-fi cult classic Barbarella, playing a space traveller from the future. One look paired a tattered black bodysuit with a draped chainmail top and miniskirt, with silver bangles and metallic silver heeled boots. She captioned the post "BARBARELLA" and wrote that she dressed up as her Monster-in-Law, calling Fonda the original space angel. Lopez and Fonda starred together in the 2005 comedy Monster-in-Law, and Lopez closed her caption with "Love you @JaneFonda".
